I started straight out of ASU as a captive agent — working for one insurance company, selling their plans, period. I was good at it. But the more I learned about Medicare, the more I realized that one company's plans weren't always the best fit for the person sitting across from me.

It was important to me as I grew to become independent — which means I now have all of the programs available to offer you. Not just one carrier's lineup. All of them. The only thing guiding my recommendation is what actually works for you.

I've been doing Medicare exclusively for 16 years now — I'm actually the baby of the bunch around here. But 16 years of doing nothing but Medicare means I've seen every situation, every enrollment window, every plan change. There's not much that surprises me anymore.

I built Local Medicare Specialists because I believe this work is personal. It's not a transaction. It's sitting down with someone — at their kitchen table, over coffee, on Zoom — and making sure they understand their options and feel good about what they choose.

We focus exclusively in Arizona on each of the counties — Pima, Maricopa, Mohave, Yavapai. We know which plans work where, which hospitals are in-network, and which doctors are taking new patients. This isn't a national call center reading off a script. We live here.

And yes — we can actually spell Yavapai. The 800 number people? They don't even know how to spell Yavapai.
